Dear William Blake
I apologize.
We cannot read
as with your eyes.
Your poems all can
mean a lot,
or very little,
true meaning forgot.
But do we read
Too much from words?
And make so much more
out of what we’ve heard?
Or do I make the mistake
in the words that I write?
For do I lack the meaning
like your Tyger in the night?
The blade of art
pierces so.
There is so much we want to
but Cannot know.
